Ukraine sanktioner mod Rusland- kan ramme gastransit til Europa

BNP Paribas skriver her til morgen i en Update:  Ukraine: Mulling a ban on the transit of Russian gas and oil to Europe On Tuesday, 12 August, the Ukrainian parliament is set to vote on sanctions against Russia. The measures could include a ban of Russian gas and oil transit to Europe, which would markedly reduce the supply of energy commodities especially in South-Eastern EU countries, which are fully dependent on the pipelines in Ukraine. While oil imports might be easily replaced, the eventual fallout of natural gas shipments would be a much bigger problem. In 2013, imports from Russia covered about a third of the EU’s natural gas consumption and half of Russia’s shipments went through Ukraine.
