Danske Bank: Carlsberg – Indian competition authorities close to finishing report on collusion

Carlsberg (MW): According to Reuters, an investigation report made by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on exchange of commercially sensitive information and collusion to fix beer prices in India among Carlsberg, AB InBev and United Breweries has now been drafted. Senior CCI members will now consider the report and decide on fines, which could exceed USD250m (c. DKK1.5bn), two sources familiar with the case said.
