Her bringes tekstuddrag fra nogle af de CSR-rapporter, hvor der beskrives meget konkrete CSR-projekter, de enkelte virksomheder har involveret sig i. Som det fremgår spænder initiativerne vidt, fra projekter, der direkte understøtter forretningen, til projekter, der har et bredere samfundssigte.
Novo Nordisk (Annual report 2014) er involveret i storbyprojekter, hvor man forsøger at identificere og håndtere diabetes: s. 34: “Cities fight urban diabetes: In 2014, Novo Nordisk launched Cities Changing Diabetes – a partnership programme to identify and address the root cause of urban diabetes in major cities around the world. Novo Nordisk is at the forefront of one of today’s great health challenges, and we’re committed to playing our part in the global fight against diabetes. We launched Cities Changing Diabetes because we believe we can use our expertise and knowledge to beat ‘urban diabetes’ … In addition to a range of local partners including academia, city authorities, urban planners, community leaders and businesses, Cities Changing Diabetes has been developed in partnership with University College London (UCL), UK, and Steno Diabetes Center, Denmark.”
A.P. Møller – Mærsk (Sustainability report 2014) er involveret i partnerskab, som skal sikre udnyttelse af vækstmuligheder for SMV i Østafrika: s. 10. “A partnership with TradeMark to unlock growth in East Africa to identify ways of reducing trade berries for SMEs and perishable products out of East Africa, Maersk is partnering with TradeMark East Africa, a non-profit organization working to accelerate poverty reduction in the region through trade growth. The aim is to support companies in East Africa gain easier entry to the work market and at the same time develop our business. As a first step, the partnership uncovered the numerous documentation requirements involved in transporting flowers and avocadoes from growers in East Africa to retailers in the Netherlands. More than 30 individuals or institutions are involved in the handling of documentation. There are about 200 different communication interactions with public officials and between different companies.”
