Kan den traditionelle corporate governance overleve i den nuværende form?
Internationalt anerkendt professor i governance skriver i kort notat om aktuelle udfordringer for det traditionelle corporate governance:
“In more democratic and participative markets will the intermediary role of directors and boards be required? Should governance be more open and less prescriptive? Should it be a few principles and what is best for each entity at a moment in time, rather than a set of universal guidelines or a standard model? Will the proportion of assets and activity in the hands of large and listed companies fall as people directly barter and share what they have, whether empty space or a lift? As people live healthy lives for longer, will they become more self-sufficient and help each other within their communities? Will people use networks and on-line support to access what they need and do what they enjoy and are good at?
