Ifølge Minerva Analytics vil EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) og Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) formentlig blive ramt som følge af handelsaftalen mellem EU og USA.
Som et af 19 nøglevilkår i handelsaftalen med USA har EU lovet, at CSRD og CSDDD ikke indebær urimelige restriktioner for transatlantisk handel. Aftalen møder dog hård kritik fra flere sider:
