NKT A/S is a Danish cables and cable equipment producer with global sales. It is one of the global leaders within on- and offshore High Voltage cables (HVC), delivering to both transmission network companies (i.e. Energinet and Svenska Kraftnät), offshore wind farms and the offshore oil & gas industry. On top of this, NKT derives close to a quarter of its earnings from medium- and low voltage cable systems, while close to a tenth of its earnings comes from cable servicing. Having recently agreed on the divestment of NKT Photonics, NKT has now established itself as a pure-play cable manufacturer.
